Elias J. TV Faces Estafa Allegations from Former Manager Over Unpaid Commissions and Contract Breach.

Manila, Philippines — Social media personality and reggae artist Elias J. TV, known offstage as Elias Lintucan Jr., is now at the center of a legal and personal controversy following serious allegations from his former manager, Beverly Pumicpic Labadlabad.

In a press briefing held at Century Park Hotel Manila, Labadlabad—flanked by legal counsels Atty. Ferdinand Topacio and Atty. Ivan Patrick Ang—announced her intent to file estafa and breach of contract charges against the artist. The case stems from alleged unpaid commissions and unauthorized performances that, according to Labadlabad, violated their professional agreement.

Legal Dispute and Viral Speculation

Beyond the financial and contractual issues, the press conference also addressed viral rumors surrounding Labadlabad’s relationship with Elias. Online speculation intensified after affectionate photos of the two surfaced, prompting backlash from fans and raising questions about their closeness.

“He’s like a younger brother to me,” Labadlabad clarified, firmly denying any romantic involvement. “Close communication is necessary in a manager-talent relationship. I am a married woman, and I am not a homewrecker,” she stated, directly refuting accusations of being a “mang-aagaw.”

The controversy reportedly escalated due to tensions involving Elias’s partner, Abegail Cariquitan. Labadlabad said she attempted to clarify the nature of her relationship with Elias during a trip to Cebu, but the situation deteriorated further.

“I met with her to explain everything is strictly professional, but tensions didn’t ease,” she shared.

Professional Fallout

The manager-talent partnership began on April 2, 2025, but Labadlabad claims the working relationship began to unravel due to jealousy and Elias’s alleged disregard for contractual obligations. She accused the artist of accepting gigs and appearances without her knowledge, resulting in missed media commitments and financial discrepancies.

Among the missed engagements was a scheduled guesting on Fast Talk with Boy Abunda last July 10, which Labadlabad said Elias canceled after being barred by Abegail from leaving their hometown in Mindanao. He also reportedly skipped an ABS-CBN interview, allegedly choosing to sleep instead.

With a U.S. tour slated for next month, Labadlabad expressed concern that the ongoing conflict could jeopardize international plans and damage Elias’s professional reputation.

Labadlabad confirmed that she will be filing formal charges in a Manila court next week. As of this report, Elias J. TV has yet to issue any public statement regarding the estafa allegations or the controversy surrounding his personal and professional conduct.
