Marvin Vinluan, operations officer for Region 4-A of the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG), is in hot water for allegedly punching a traffic constable of the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) on Monday. marvin-vinluan.jpg Jonard Jeramil, MMDA traffic enforcer assigned in Manila, was allegedly punched by Marvin Vinluan when the latter was apprehended for jaywalking along España Boulevard.

Upon investigation authorities found out that Vinluan had already boarded a commuter van when Jeramil asked him to get off the vehicle to inform him of his violation. Moments later, the heated argument between the two resulted to physical attack.

Authorities said that Marvin Vinluan was captured on a closed circuit television (CCTV) camera installed in the area.

DILG Secretary Mar Roxas said he has already recommended administrative charges against Vinluan.

If it's true that there is a CCTV recording available to fully validate the incident, then most likely than not Marvin Vinluan would become another infamous motorist just like Blair Carabuena whose firearms license got revoked by Philippine National Police and driver’s license was cancelled by Land Transportation Office after being caught on cam beating and cursing an MMDA traffic enforcer by the name of Saturnino Fabros.
