According to the witnesses, Benigno Cayetano was on a hurry and he was seen within the crime scene with blood stains on his shirt.Investigators' initial assessment on the case revealed that the motive behind the killing was robbery after noting many valuables, including a laptop and a camera were missing.
Information leading to the arrest of Benigno Cayetano in the robbery-killing of Maria Victoria Reyes, University of the Philippines Los Baños agriculture student will yield a reward of P100,000, according to the police in Laguna province.
Police said they hope the reward will prompt the public to help locate the killer of Victoria Reyes.
