KC Concepcion, 27-year-old model-actress-host, the first daughter of megastar Sharon Cuneta brings her sexy back as the 2013 Calendar Girl for Tanduay Distillers. KC Concepcion was welcomed with so much warmth by the guests who graced the launch of the Tanduay 2013 Calendar Girl at Bonifacio High Street, Global City, Taguig.

After her sexy dance number with the G-Force guys, the press admitted to her that it was a bit of a shock to see KC’s newest pictorials.

“This is really quite new for me. But for 12 years I’ve been endorsing, I feel this is the best time to do this na. It’s worth the wait,” KC said. "(It's symbolic of me) as an independent girl who can put a cap on things, na hindi nago-go overboard. It's a balance din, and it's being proud to be a Filipino," she added.

“We were allowed to have our own creative freedom for the different poses I did. Ayaw ko rin namang gumawa ng something where I won’t be comfortable. Gusto ko, maging masaya ang fans, lalo na ang pamilya ko when they see this,” she revealed.

“I was just inspired to do each pose. When I did the Rogue Magazine pictorial, that was my way of expressing myself creatively and artistically,” she said.

Did she have her mother’s approval?

“Mom was the one who asked Boss Vic (del Rosario) of Viva to also take care of me. So, when it comes to these things, she gives her full trust to Viva management. Yes, she knew about this. She just made sure na it won’t go overboard,” she said.

KC Concepcion believes the shock factor is nothing compared to her Rogue cover.

“Kung nakayanan niya ang nakita niya sa Rogue Magazine, mas kaya niya ito. Sexy siya and yet tasteful. Kaya, it came out na maganda, buong araw lang namin itong ginawa in a beach in Batangas. Parang lahat, swak sa ideas ng isa’t isa,” she said.

KC Concepcion is no longer afraid to be typecast in sexier, more sensual, and daring roles.

“No more na. And I think, there’s nothing to be afraid of. Mas maganda tingnan ang babaeng may sense of openness when it comes to these things. I think, simula nang ipanganak naman ako, until the time I went abroad to study and live there, hanggang bumalik na ako here, sanay na ang mga fans with what they’ve seen in me,” she said.

She did four layouts for the Tanduay 2013 calendar. One has her looking like Bridget Bardot on the beach. Another finds her posing in a white one-piece swimsuit, a backless see-through dress, and a cleavage-baring outfit. There’s one of her on a bed topless with her back turned. And finally, there’s one of her on a rocky beach wearing a denim jacket and denim shorts that shows a side of her right breast.

KC gave her full trust to the creative team for the calendar shoot — photographer Marc Nicdao, hairstylist Celeste Tuviera and stylist Pam Quiñones.

KC Concepcion posed in a swimsuit for a billboard of Bayo in 2008 which created a stir among showbiz folk. And then after her breakup with Piolo Pascual in January, she sent shock waves across the country with the February 2012 cover of Rogue Magazine.
