At the coronation night, Miss Colombia Ariadna Gutierrez was initially announced by Steve Harvey as the 2015 Miss Universe but a few moment after the declaration, the title was withdrawn and given to Pia Wurtzbach as the host of the pageant claimed that he committed an honest mistake. Steve said that he "will take the responsibility" for the error.
