If recently, you fix problems just because you give in, not because he/she apologized. Your partner doesn’t even make an effort to make things better for the two of you.

There’s a difference between busy and making an excuse. If recently, he/she has been making so many excuses for missing out your dates. Regardless if it’s true or not, he/she is still missing dates. In the first place, he should know that having a partner would require giving extra time to your partner and treating them like a priority too.
