Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) was rated as one of the world's worst airport, but why do foreigners still like to be in this place? Why do they love to travel and experience the incovenience at this airport?
Aside from the hospitable and cheerful Filipinos, these tourists love to be in the Philippines because of HONEST cab drivers. For sure you've heard several horrifying incidents relating to some known modus operandi of bad taxi drivers, but this story will surely make your day.
A cab driver reportedly returned a luggage loaded with cash amounting to $1,700 (approximately P77,000) to an Overseas Filipino Worker (OFW). A couple of high-end gadgets were also turned over including a laptop, and smartphone.
The taxi driver identified as Ricardo Villanueva, who routinely sleeps in his taxi during the night and goes home to Pampanga on weekends, picked up Richard Ramirez Pelino on Tuesday night at NAIA 1. He dropped off Pelino at a certain hotel and drove back to NAIA 3 to pick up another passenger. While he was approaching the airport, he discovered the black bag of Pelino left in the back seat of his taxi prompting him to immediately report the incident to the airport police.
