47,000 Cruise Ship Jobs Opportunities for Filipino High School Graduates

Are you working as a Marine Engineer, Marine Pilot, Degree-holder tour guide, a highly literate hotel receptionist or as a Certified Public Accountant? The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) said that even without a college degree, Filipino job-hunters can now work on board a world-renowned international cruise ships as the government agency declared around 47,000 cruise ship job vacancies.
In a news report posted by ABS-CBN News, Labor Secretary Rosalinda Baldoz said that the cruise ships will hire people even those who are High School graduates. They also disclosed that the cruise ships prefer those with working experience in hotels, casinos and spas, as well as in the fields of beauty and health, information and technology and security.
Secretary Baldoz added that the international job vacancies will be created when 15 new international cruise ships will come into service this year. Baldoz cited “Cruise vacations are becoming more popular, so global demand is expected to increase in the next five years with new cruise ships to be put in operation,”
