Philippines demands apology from Taylor Kitsch

The Philippine government appeals an apology from a Canadian actor, Taylor Kitsch who claimed that corrupt customs officers wanted his iPhone in exchange for his entry in the international airport.

“We believe that Taylor Kitsch made an erroneous statement which demeaned our country and an apology would be a proper, decent response,” Presidential Spokesman Edwin Lacierda said in a text message.

People of the Philippines this would be the nth time that we've been asking someone to make a public apology. Does it really make sense at all? Is that all we can do?

I don't know why do we love to make this type of response whenever someone makes a mistake. I don't like to continue writing this article. It's up to you to think of this childlike reactions. Speak your mind.
