Is Oregon Vortex just an optical illusion or is it a naturally occurring phenomenon?
We are used to seeing this kind of tricks in different amusement parks. We know them by several names but jointly they are known as Mystery Spots. This phenomenon or trick is also dubbed as 'alien vortex'. Mystery Spots were created during the Great Depression, a time when entertainment was just about the only industry that was still on the rise in America. It continues to draw several audience and enchant visitors to this day.
Most mystery spots share a basic presentation. You are shown into a special room or small cabin where the strange phenomenon occurs. You will see balls roll uphill, and water flow briskly up the spout. You watch ordinary chairs defy gravity and clings to the wall without support, while fellow visitors stand around at a very impossible angles.
These are sheer optical illusions and special effects that were done deliberately to delight the crowd. But what you don't know is that there is a factual incident where something close to this one actually occurs. It is known as OREGON VORTEX.
