Evander Holyfield visits Pacquiao in General Santos City (Sarangani Province)
Evander Holyfield, former undisputed heavyweight boxing champion and a goodwill ambassador of the Global Village Champions Foundation, arrived in General Santos City on Valentine's Day and asked for People's Champion Manny Pacquiao's help in distributing P25 million worth of aid for typhoon Pablo victims.

“We came here to strategize, how much food they need, how much we can afford to send in. And we have here medical supplies,” said Global Village Champions Foundation CEO and founder, Yank Barry.
Pacquiao also thanked Holyfield for coming over and helping out.
“Nagpapasalamat ako sa pagpunta nila dito sa Pilipinas, especially dito sa probinsya ko, at tulungan 'yung mga typhoon victims,” said Pacquiao, the current representative of Sarangani province in the lower House.
Holyfield joined the Pacquiaos in a Valentine’s Day dinner in Sarangani province where he sampled Filipino hospitality and food.
“Everybody has chicken everywhere, everybody cooks... I was amazed, we pretty much cook the same way. It's great. I like it,” he said.
Evander Holyfield says he has nothing but love for his Filipino fans.
He said it has been a pleasure visiting the country for the first time.
