Amid Tensions & Violent Attacks, some Taiwanese citizens urge Peace, Protection of OFWs

The recent death of an Overseas Filipino Worker (OFW) in Taiwan prompted our citizens to stay indoors. The fear of our countrymen continues to wake them up even at the middle of the night to check their vicinity if Taiwanese intruders are roaming around looking for a new victim.

But despite the tensions and recent attacks, still a handful of local citizens urge the Taiwanese government for peace and protection of OFWs. The photo in this post was captured by Mr. Peter Wan which shows that not all Taiwanese are aiming to hurt the Filipino workers. They support the welfare of Filipinos and asking the Taiwanese citizens to calm down.

This article is published with the approval and permission of our OFW Facebook friend, Lyn Aujero. The photo is courtesy of OFW Camaraderies. Of course, we want to reiterate that the photo was taken by Mr. Peter Wan.

Disclaimer: This is NOT A PAID international political post for Taiwan. We just simply want to present this local news to our readers. DiversityHuman.com DOES NOT claim the authenticity of this photo nor question the sincerity of the people shown in the picture. The photo is presented as a plain reference to show that NOT ALL TAIWANESE are against the people of the Republic of the Philippines.
