Hades is an ancient Greek god of the underworld. Therefore, Gates of Hades could be referred to as Hade’s kingdom or in layman’s term, “Hell”. Don’t worry, this glitch doesn’t work for everyone who curiously tries to see the crazy Siri response.

There has been some speculations about Siri’s response. Some said that it’s just a hoax or a trick which intends to scare people or Siri users. While the website, Cult of Mac, said that it was just an iPhone glitch caused by iPhone’s Wolfram Alpha configuration, a chief driving force for Siri’s reactions.
As stated by Cult of Mac and several iPhone owners who posted on Apple Forum discussion, July 27, 2014 has something to do with Chinese Ghost month – when the Gates of Heaven and Hell opens. Others simply considers its relation with the Muslim holy month of Ramadan.
I guess this is just an iPhone glitch that we should not take seriously. Even other phone brands malfunctions and produces eccentric outputs close to this. But if you happen to own an Apple gadget with a Siri app, you can try it just for fun and see for yourself if it’s real or not.
