There will be an extra attraction to talk about for our dear boxing fans who have all been anticipating the Manny Pacquiao – Brandon Rios fight in Macau.

A tension started to heat up between the camps of Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao and Rios in an altercation on Wednesday in Macau gymnasium. The people involved in the said commotion were Pacman’s world-class coach, Freddie Roach, and no other than Pacman’s old fitness trainer, Alex Ariza.

The argument began when Freddie Roach entered the gym at 11 a.m. for Pacquiao's training session. Rios had the gym from 9-11 a.m. Rios was wrapping up his workout when Roach came in.

According to Kevin Lole of Yahoo! Sports, Pacquiao's trainer, Freddie Roach, shoved Rios' trainer (Robert Garcia). Then Alex Ariza, Rios' strength and conditioning coach, got involved as well.

Several witnesses said, Freddie Roach made a beeline to Garcia and demanded that he leave immediately. Garcia asked for three minutes to finish up, but Roach wouldn't hear of it. Apparently, witnesses also said the trainers shoved each other.

Ariza told Marcos Villegas of Fight Hub that he kicked Roach. While, Top Rank promoter Bob Arum said;

"We have a fight already and it's still a few days out."

Ariza and Roach have quite a bit of history. Roach doesn't like Garcia, and he doesn't like Ariza. The feeling is mutual from the other side. This real-life drama adds another dimension to what seems like a pointless fight for casual fans as they think Manny will not benefit from winning against Rios because Rios just came from a loss and may not be a good come back fight for Pacman.

Things are brewing up! Everything seems to be action-packed in and out the boxing ring!
