A video regarding a Telstra operator who allegedly bribed a Telstra customer is circulating on the web. The alleged operator's name is 'daniella' who attempted to extort a $60 charge in exchange of wiping out the entire bills of the customer. This conversation happened offline and thru email negotiations, daniella pushed her limits to convince the customer of her offer. One of the email replies of daniella goes like this:
You really sound pleasant to me...lols
do you want me to rectify this bill straight away?
can do some reverse of charge and just put your account on $99 charge!
so you won't have problem when you go inter-state work
if i can received a special presents... cheers!
daniella..=)
If indeed this operator came from the Philippines, then this case would negatively impact the entire industry. If we have to recall the video of Shan Cruz Rivera where he fooled many of his callers, daniella's act is far more destructive than that of Shan's case.
What a disappointing attitude and behavior! Every year we have millions of unemployed citizens.
Employed individuals, take care of your job, learn to value your job, and learn to love your job. I hope that we just don't think of ourselves like daniella. There are thousands of call center employees who rely on this job and thousands of Filipinos benefit from this industry especially our government who gets million to billion of dollars out of these companies from off shore.

the girl in the video clip is NOT Michelle Valdez.. she's my friend and she has never worked in Teleperformance (Telstra account). I feel sad for her cause she's a victim of identity theft/character assassination. 'Today Tonight' must have done thorough research before attaching her facebook pics in their report. Legal actions are on process right now and we're praying for the best.

Hi, I know the girl in the picture. She is a good friend of mine...but I don't know who Michelle Valdez is?! Teleperfomance should do something about this, it is their employee and their liability. SOmeone who is innocent is being used...this is not acceptable.

MA and Gene: you should tell your friend to also File a Case to the News company who brought her Face to the News. the News should tell right things to the Public.. Grabe naman na kahihiyan ang dinala nun sa Friend nyo.. Kwawa naman sya. Madali lang nman malaman kung saan sya nagtra-trabho.. so may laban na sya kaagad dun..
Telstra: you can check the Account of the customer and Check for Call recordings and Last notations in the Account.
