Korean girl group Red Velvet returned to Manila on Thursday, night before their concert at the SM Mall of Asia Arena.
Manila, Philippines - The world famous K-pop girl group Red Velvet has returned to Manila for their highly anticipated concert “Be You: The World Will Adjust” which has been described as “an extraordinary celebration for people with special needs.” The said advocacy concert will also feature variety of local acts.
Members of Red Velvet - Irene, Seulgi, Wendy, Joy, and Yeri received a warm welcome from their Filipino fanbase at Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 1 on Thursday, July 21, 2022 past 10p.m. Thousands of followers and supporters who were patiently waiting for hours at the arrival exit were extremely happy upon having a closer look at the popular K-pop group.
Though tight personal security was implemented as they made their way out of the airport, the escorting team still allowed the Red Velvet girls to have some time to wave and greet their fans standing at the lobby area.
Red Velvet will be joined by P-pop groups BINI and BGYO, as well as dancer Lady Pipay. The group is set to perform tonight, Friday, at the SM Mall of Asia Arena.
Three years since their last concert for Filipino ReVeluv, fans will witness again a very fantastic performance from Red Velvet.
Meanwhile, SM Entertainment group previously performed in the Philippines in April 2015 for “Best of the Best,” and in June 2019 for the K-Pop Music Festival.
