Tycoon Andrew Tan's Global Estate Resorts Inc. (GERI), a sister company of Megaworld, last week launched Twin Lakes. It has been proclaimed to be the Philippines' first vineyard resort community which will soon rise in Tagaytay.

The Vineyard is a 177-hectare mixed-use area with an actual vineyard for growing grapes, a winery or chateau, hotel and spa, townhomes and a wedding venue.

The project, covering 1,149 hectares of rolling terrain overlooking Taal Lake, will be Tagaytay’s first masterplanned integrated tourism estate featuring residential villas, condominiums, townhouses, hotel and resort, commercial and retail hubs as well as sports and leisure facilities.

There will also be four residential villages: Domaine Le Jardin, Domaine Le Montagne, Domaine Le Soleil, and Domaine Du Lac. A luxury condominium, The Vineyard Residences, will offer one to two-bedroom units.

Several commercial and retail hubs such as The Village and Lakeshore Town Center will be built in the property.

A 15-kilometer road will traverse the major developments in the estate from the top of the ridge to Talisay Road.

Twin Lakes is located in barangays Dayap Itaas, San Gabriel, San Gregorio and Sta. Maria in Laurel, Batangas. --ABS-CBN news
