The Voice's Cheesa goes Topless for 'N@ked' Album Cover

Filipino-American singer Cheesa, the only Filipina to ever make it on the semi-final rounds of "The Voice" back in Season 2, is going "N@ked". That's the name of her newest album where she showcases a more daring side of her artistry (Cheesa goes Topless), a departure from her 'sweet girl from Hawaii' image as a former competitor on the NBC hit show “The Voice”.

“I know a lot of people are probably thinking that it's going to be something seductive and you know, crazy, sexy. But "N@ked" is basically talking about me, revealing who I am, revealing what I couldn't reveal on the show, you know, a more sensitive side of me. A more vulnerable side to me,” she said.

The album cover shows a topless Cheesa, with a hand covering her breast. Cheesa said she did her revealing album cover with the blessing of her family.

The singer has admitted to having insecurities about her body when she was younger. But now, she said she wants to inspire others to feel beautiful just as they are.

Fans were shocked but were also amazed of the topless album cover of Cheesa.

"Cheesa has a descent topless album cover," said one of the netizens on a social networking site.

Her “I'm Not Perfect” song featuring Charice celebrates her confidence.

“This should be an inspiration to people to just embrace who they are; embrace their body, feel beautiful on their own skin, especially for women. Media is showing us what we should look like.
