Manila, Philippines - Ninoy Aquino Day, observed annually on August 21, is a national non-working holiday in the Philippines commemorating the anniversary of the 1983 assassination of former Senator Benigno "Ninoy" Aquino, Jr. (wikipedia).

Tomorrow is the 29th anniversary of the top critic of President Ferdinand Marcos...
Benigno "Ninoy" Aquino, Jr. stood and fought for Philippine democracy...
Ninoy caused the downfall of Ferdinand Marcos...
His intense advocacy to the Filipino people remained for years...

BUT... where we at now? Did we achieve progress?
