Kevin Balot, Filipino Transgender beauty wins Miss International Queen 2012 in Thailand
Kevin Balot, a pinoy "lady boy", won Miss International Queen 2012 title in a contest for transvestites held in Pattaya, Thailand.
Kevin defeated four other Filipinos who joined the contest and the Brazilian contender during the question and answer portion in the final round.
In an interview. Kevin Balot said that someday he wants to go to Europe and to represent our country, the Philippines. "I'm so proud to present the beauty of the gays back to our country, the Philippines,” he added.
Aside from the crown, the 21-year old Pinoy also won $10,000 and other prizes.
Three other pinoy 'lady boys' also able to reach the top 10.
Balot bested 21 contestants from 15 countries. Kevin Balot hopes his title will finally make his father accept him.
