Why it’s important to TELL the girl you LIKE her

So my friends have asked me a couple of times before – “Do you have to TELL the girl you like her? Or do your actions speak for it?”

To many, they believe that actions speak louder than words and that you shouldn't have to actually TELL the girl you LIKE her or that you’re courting her. Now here in the Philippines, people are still accustomed to “Courting”; in which you woo the girl with flowers, chocolates, songs or any other romantic ideas wherein you would show that you like her and you wish for her to be your girl. However, it still remains a mystery whether or not you should TELL the girl you’re courting her.

Here are some reasons why you SHOULD actually TELL the girl you like her.

1.) Girls don’t want to seem presumptuous.

Yes you act nice and sweet but girl would NEVER want to assume on anything unless you actually tell them your real intentions.

2.) Girls fear this phrase

“What are you talking about? I never even SAID that I liked you”

See? Without the actual magic words, girls wouldn't know where they stand. There’s the fear of “Maybe he’s as sweet to the other women.” Or “Maybe he’s just really friendly.”

Girls won’t have something to hold on to as a basis of you “courting” them because if they say “no” guys could easily say “What made you think I was even courting you in the first place?” They NEED verbal confirmation.

3.) NOT TELLING girls you like them is a sign of being a coward and being weak.

Are you playing safe? Scared of being rejected? You fear putting your cards on the table? Giving verbal confirmation is like putting a signed contract on the table. So that both sides are fully aware of what’s going on and the other wouldn’t end up guessing. Still, in today’s society, this opinion is but of just another random girl’s opinion. But just so men know some reasons on why they actually have to TELL the ladies their true feeling. Don’t leave them guessing. Because even if they can feel it; they wouldn’t want to presume just based from actions.
