Mainstream Media Creates Too Much $c#nd@lous “Kabit” and “3rd party” Themed Shows

It's just toomuch! $c#nd@lous “Kabit” and “3rd party” Story Lines over and over again!

So I posted this status in my Facebook account the other day.

Dear Creative Team of the Mainstream Media,

No other woman, My neighbor's wife, A secret affair, The mistress, My husband's lover, NOW The borrowed wife ... we get it ok? Recycle the 3rd party kind of story all you want it all looks the same. And what lessons are we actually trying to teach people here?

Yea ok. Some were a hit, but do they really have to milk it? Too much marital unfaithfulness. Ano nalang nangyayari sa value na ipinapakita nila? They make the scenes look cool, and believe it or not I JUST HEARD some kids outside saying "Bitch ka lang, ako super bitch", then their friends cheer. Then the other one says "You can call me anything you want: a snake, a bitch, an other woman. But I will never be a pathetic, boring housewife."

Yes it's all fun and games now but THAT'S THE POINT. It's all fun and games now! And Filipinos expect the nation to value the sanctity of marriage with these shows? While they show hot seductive mistresses who speak in cool quotable quotes?

And then all the endings are the same they all realize they're wrong. Still, the whole story focuses on all the sex, thrill and drama of being a 3rd party. They highlight those parts so don't tell people "You're missing the point, you SHOULDN'T be unfaithful." Tss!”

It got about 130 likes after posting, which is a lot considering I’m not a famous person to begin with. My Facebook status also received several comments, which are also listed below, but I will not name those users who posted it on my Facebook timeline. It would be unfair to them if I post their personal information beyond my account.)

My opinion is what was written on my status, anything else someone had to comment about it is someone else’s. I pretty much covered almost everything I wanted to say in my status. I just hope that this could reach the media’s creative team and somehow find a way to think OF ANOTHER theme to do with their shows.

All those mentioned above may have different characters, plots, scenes and WHATEVER but in the end, we've seen too much of it in these recent years. We've had enough. It’s corrupting the minds of children and even teenagers who happen to see these shows.

Do the nation a favor and please scratch whatever it is that is banked in your idea vault that has something to do with being a 3rd party. You might have something planned in the future entitled “The 3rd wife” , “My wife during the summer”, “My brother’s wife”, “I love his wife”, “The wife of my aunt’s cousin’s 2nd cousin’s husband” etc.

Creative team of the mainstream media, please stop creating $c#nd@lous films in 2014!
