Kobe Paras wins FIBA Under-18 Honda Dunk Contest
The 15-year-old guard Kobe Paras from La Salle Greenhills bested 14 other competitors at the FIBA Under-18 3x3 Honda Dunk Contest Sunday evening in Jakarta, Indonesia.
Kobe Paras, the son of PBA legend Benjie Paras, wowed the crowd of Jakarta as he dunked over teammate Thirdy Ravena of Ateneo, who was sitting on a motorcycle, for a flush in the championship round. He won the crown over Demonte Flannigan of the US and Antonio Morales of Spain. -with partial texts from ABS-CBN news
Kobe Paras is a known dunker. He once made a fantastic in-game dunk and also dunked over the famous NBA player Lebron James during his tour in Manila.
