An impressive student, Sarah Tanduyan from Tiaong, Quezon will graduate Magna Cum Laude this Friday. And she wants to Sarah-tanduyan-magna-cum-laude-san-pablo-laguna.pngshare her story to inspire other people to strive and show determination to fulfill their dreams even with scarce financial resources.

Sarah's mother died when she was 10. Since then she lives with her father-Nick. Her father serves as her sole inspiration. Nick works as a junk collector and this is the only source of their income. Her dad collects a maximum of Php 200 a day where all of their expenses are taken from.

There were many instances that they were not able to pay their electric bills which ended her using gas-powered lamp just to continue her homework. She never complained. Her father's job was degraded by many people which in return caused her to put more perseverance in her studies. Though she received Php 1,500 allowance from her school, everyday she walked two (2) kilometers just to save money.

She is a consistent honor student since grade school. And her proof to that lies inside their small nipa hut (a house made of wood usually from a coconut lumber). She received countless medals from grade school to highschool. She took Business Administration in Dalubhasaan ng Lungsod ng San Pablo (DLSP). This Friday, she will have an ultimate award to receive-Magna Cum Laude from DLSP.

It is a very inspiring true to life story and DiversityHuman.com hopes that we will have more Sarah Tanduyan in the future who has full of dedication and will to be successful. We are very proud of your success!
