<p><strong>Mary Jennifer Doroga, 32, <img src="https://diversityhuman.com/public/people/.Mary-Jennifer-Doroga_m.jpg" alt="Mary-Jennifer-Doroga.jpg" style="float:left; margin: 0 1em 1em 0;" title="Mary-Jennifer-Doroga.jpg, May 2012" />a contractual janitress who has been working for 7 years in the Manila International Airport Authority received a cash reward of P50,000 from the Federation of Filipino Chinese Associations Foundations Incorporated (FFCAFI) for returning the money she found at the International Airport Terminal 1.</strong></p>
<p>Jennifer Doroga was about to go home on April 26 when she saw a transparent plastic pouch full of cash in different currencies at the arrival customs counter at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (Naia) Terminal 1. Instead of keeping it, Doroga immediately coordinated with airport authorities and turned over the pouch to the lost and found section. The estimated cash is P1.2 million. Jennifer said, “It never crossed my mind to keep it. That is not what honesty is all about.”</p>
<p><strong>Rewards</strong></p>
<p>Airport janitress-Mary Jennifer Doroga is reaping rewards.</p>
<p>The FFCAFI board of directors decided to reward 32-year-old Mary Jennifer Doroga for her exemplary honesty said Manny Dy, the honorary president of the association. The janitress cried upon receiving the cheque. Doroga, who did not finish high school, was grateful. She said she intends to use the money for her family’s personal needs. She said she would use part of the FFCAFI reward to pay her debts and for medical expenses of her ailing mother. Last week, she was a guest on singer-actress Sharon Cuneta’s TV show. She said Cuneta promised to help her finish school.</p>
<p>NAIA Terminal 1 manager Dante Basanta and senior assistant general manager Vicente Guerzon were present when the group handed the reward money to Doroga.</p>
<p>The pouch containing the money remains in the custody of airport authorities because no one has claimed it until now.</p>

Promotion/Regulation of Jennifer Doroga
A janitress whose been serving the airport terminal for 7 years but not even yet on the verge of being promoted nor being regularized. This is a serious situation that our government has to deal with on any of our local private/semi-private companies.
