Filipino Singer Joseph Apostol, Wowed the Judges of The Voice UK 2013 (Audition Video)

Joseph Apostol, a 21-year-old British-Filipino singer, caught the attention of The Voice UK judges Jessie J and Tom Jones with his unique rendition of "Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow".

"I've only got one spot left open... and I've been waiting and waiting and waiting... But when I heard you, I heard the passion from you and the range that you have, there's a lot of fire there... you didn't copy anybody... you have an original sounding voice," Tom Jones said.

"I know there's a lot of great Filipino singers because I've been to the Philippines and I've heard them sing. And you really do have a great voice and I love to have you on my team," Jones added.

Joseph said it was a dream come true when Jones turned and picked him for his team.

"I was really excited because you know, he is one of the most iconic persons ever in the music industry, so it was really great to have him turn around," he said.

Apostol, who moved to the UK when he was 10, is determined to chase his dream of being a singer. He dedicated his recent win to his mother who has worked in the UK as a nurse for more than a decade. - report from ABS-CBN news
