It’s tiring, too tiring! Filipinos are definitely and honestly tired of politics. It's a fact that we don’t really trust anyone from the Senate or even from the local government. People who were born in the 90's would know that, probably, and those in 80’s, 70’s, or even in 20’s. There’s no change! I know some of you would say that, somehow, there is. But you see, it’s just on the ‘somehow’ part. There's no significant positive change.
Among the rough rocks, there would always be a diamond on top. That diamond, I must say, is none other than Sen. Miriam Defensor-Santiago, who now endures Lung Cancer but definitely won’t give up. That’s the number one reason why she’s my only trusted politician. From all those bashes and harsh words she received because of being straightforward and for all those times when she had to fight and there was no one behind her back but her family--she didn't give up on anything. And that’s a concrete reason why she’s trustworthy.
Straight to the point. When she says this, it’s what she really feels and what she really sees. There’s no room for lies when it comes to her. There’s always a chance of breaking the hidden glass.

She fights not for her own benefit but for the Filipino people. At this point of time, there are no heroes and defenders of truth, but I can see it through her. She’s an epitome of a real hero that you can count on. She won’t care if ever she has revealed something from the other politicians because she knows that it’s the right thing to do.
She’s just amazingly authoritative and no one will question this! Senator Miriam Defensor-Santiago will do whatever she wants to do and say whatever she wants to say as long as it’s for the sake of her fellowmen.
