Blake Warren Coloma Ang tops Physician Licensure Exam
The humble member of "lumads" from Surigao ranks number one in the latest physician licensure examination results.

Blake Warren Coloma Ang is still in disbelief that he is the top passer of the licensure exam with a grade of 89.42 percent. The young doctor related that he was at the grocery when he received a text message from his father that he passed the exam with flying colors. Ang admitted too that the exam was really difficult particularly the section on pathology.
"I was amazed and parang na-shock because of the result na top 1 pala ako. I just can't believe my eyes. During the first weekend ang first day medyo OK lang siya pero on the Sunday on the first weekend naglisod sa pathology na exam," he said.
Blake Warren Coloma Ang finished nursing in 2008 and he also passed the nursing licensure exam. He then took medicine at the Cebu Institute of Medicine under a scholarship program. Ang said he learned a lot during his internship at the Philippine General Hospital.
Coloma Ang now plans to work in either Cebu or Manila as a pediatric surgeon. He also wants to teach in his alma mater in Cebu. -a report from ABS-CBN news
